Blue Sky Van Hire at Hipcamp Property

Before taking the leap into van life myself I have tried out a few different vans & off road camping set ups. Last year I had the opportunity to take one of Blue Sky Van Hire’s vans on a weekend trip. I headed down to the Gold Coast Hinterland to a Hipcamp property called Mountain, Creek & Rainforest Camp. We were the only ones at this camp that night & it was absolutely perfect! We found a quiet spot beside the creek & set up camp for the night. David the host was extremely friendly & accommodating on arrival. There’s a range of different camp sites to choose from in three separate areas. A small walk up the hill took us to his newly built toilet block which was immaculate.

The night was spent cooking up a tasty dinner, roasting marshmallows on the fire & having great conversation. The next morning we woke up & had a warm coffee in the back of the van before packing up to head back to the Sunshine Coast.
